Default Isle of Man TT

probably the craziest ,biggest ball carrying race known to man on city streets with city wide roads not track spec, road spec..with loads of distractions on production bikes that anyone can buy

In the second video at 2:14 the guy gets a tank slapper so hard(speed wobble) that it tweaks his leg and he's done..just the sheer tuffness on your body alone is enough to make you call it quits. This really shows how production bikes with race fairings and other light mod goodies and how pretty much it is that there race bikes that you can drive on the street. If I could ever be that good I don't think I'd race here,I'd like to go visit Isle of Man and ride the roads cause its like that year around..which has to be some nice riding at half the speed...

It is a very cool place. We are on the Isle of Mann right now. The pads from the TT on the rock walls, trees, and sign posts are still up. There are several other motorcycle races and at least one car rally. Last year a woman, Carolyn Sells, won the Manx Grand Prix on a CBR600 (whatever that is, it has two whels) in the Ultra Lightweight class. Apparently the first time a woman won.

Scenery is beautiful and the people are incredibly friendly (true all over the UK this trip). Also, no speed limits outside of towns (on the Isle of Mann only). Of course, you can not be stupid, as you share the little roads with farm tractors and there are rock walls on both sides.

If you book now you MIGHT be able to find a place for 2012.

This year at the Manx Museum there is an exhibit called Legends of Suzuki.

A flyer on the ferry from Liverpool had a story about a flm called "No Limit" set around a man trying to win the TT and also of course the girl. This year is the 75th anniversary of making the flm. SUpposed to also be a great time capsule of what life was like on the island in the 1930's. Shot on location on he TT course in 1935.

Have been trying to set a course record in the diesel Ford Focus rental but so far no luck. It is actually a great little car and peppier than you would think.

Michelle has been having fun spotting all the Landies and Austin (as opposed to the new Kraut) Minis.

Will post pictures upon return, too much to do and see now.

Damn your there now..wow lucky man!!! the roads are amazing over there and your always in and out of towns so speed limit in town for 2 minutes ain't bad and no speed limit is even better. I'd love to be able to drive there on a visit. 2012 huh..damn thats some serious having to plan and cbr600 is a honda..more likely the cbr600rr pretty nice bike..all around track bike..gixxers are demons but are not comfy, kawa have great mid range, honda lil of both worlds down a lil on handle but most wouldn't ever get it to its limit. Have fun man your lucky as hell.
