Default Shut it Down tubbed Dune Buggy

I here building a simple clean street and strip dune buggy in Rock. SID will profile that killer prostock stance. 2386cc with 48's hanging out back. 10 inch wide wheels and 5 by 4 in front. Noz will stay arm and dangerous!

Holes in the body will be closed up, the luggage area need to be cut and modify to fit properly on the chassis. Por-15 will be used to paint up the chassis as soon as I get her rolling during the summer.

But I can't wait to see finish product .. Keep us posted .. Also I'm just about done with my project.. Body shop next ..

yep.. 1200 lbs plus and with me in it... maybe 1400 lbs plus. Dune buggies really light, Bai!! Put a 200 hp NA or Turbo with gearing set. With a tubed chassis & tied in roll cage to keep her stiff. She should a fun driver on the street and strip.

Yea.. Gramazone is light as well. He about 1400 lbs plus with the driver. His NA and Turbo motor is on the edge of being a full tilted prostock race motor. Yea.. wheelie bars is needed. But I isnt doing all that stuff. Mines is street car. sometime on the strip use. I'm building mine cause Im tired riding in Gramazone passenger seat. lol
