Ordinarily it costs hundreds of millions -if not billions- of dollars to manufacture a single car for mass production. You have to come up with a design that will sell..then you have to research, develop, and build all of the underpinnings, then tool up an entire factory and finally start production...all in hopes that people will like it. Or do you?
The Chinese seem to have found another path:

Although we don't have any word on how good the cars actually are... on the basis of looks alone, they did a pretty good job "duplicating" the originals...
