Okay greetings from a Cruzan in the frozen north... :) It's been a while since I've posted. Anyways let give you guys a report on what I've been up too. First I've been building a new website over the winter, It's not quite finished as far content but its ready for public beta viewing www.teamgeko.squarespace.com.
I had plans of swapping and rb25det in my s13 but those plans fell through. So I basically pulled out my sr20det to put it back in again, but this time around I'm changing a few things ie:halfcage, fuelcell, dual plate clutch, some rearranging of wiring etc.You know one cool thing about building car projects,is the wealth of knowledge gained between builds...

Okay on to the 3kgt build... This has been slow build...This my wifey's car and I'm not particularly fond of working on Mitsubishi but I love driving them:cool:
Anways I've finally got around to getting all wiring done minus the home and trigger wiring going to the cam angle sensor, which now houses a 24-1 trigger disc. I've been setting up the base fuel maps and ignition maps. I should be firing this car up in a couple of weeks. I need a new oil cooler and plx wideband O2 meter. I also plan on puting this car on a dyno. The only problem its a 2wd dyno so I have to disable the rear shaft which should be to hard... :ugh: Who am I kidding easy and Mitsubishi don't mix!! lol. I'm sure that it will be a pain in the butt.. This is my first time tunning with haltech and so far I'm very impressed. The target airfuel ratio tune looks like its going to be pretty handy. Then again I'm coming tuning a on a SDS aka (simple digital system). Oh yeah mad props to the guys at magnecor for a fast quality built plug wires...I'm definately buying a set of these for my sr20det...

Nice. I have also attended the EFI 101 university both the basic and advanced program. It is well worth the investment. Alaska??? That shit must be cold even in the summer.
