Honda just unveiled their new CBR 1000. The bike is actually longer than its predecessor but looks shorter because Honda has worked to centralize the mass. The fuel tank for example, has been pulled further in and lower to package things more compactly. Although there's no US word on output, Honda Europe is claiming 175hp @ 12,000rpm and 84lb-ft of torque @ 8,500rpm. The bike has a claimed curb weight of 438lbs...
