I've lost track of how many 400+hp performance oriented cars we'll be getting in the $40-60k range. I think it's safe to say there's one for every kind of enthusiast out there. And at least two for most.
Well, it's time to add another to the list: Dodge comes to press today to confirm that they'll be releasing a SRT8 version of their Challenger. The only other information we have at this time is that it will be coming out after the 2009 Challenger- which means it's probably about 2 years off- and will be based on the Challenger's platform. For Dodge fans, the timing couldn't be more perfect though, as the new Challenger is slated to be released in 2008 and a majority of the new $40-60k aforementioned performance cars are due to be released over the next year or so...
