At 500 horsepower, the BMW M5 is not a simple machine. Now imagine if you can, taking all that ferocity and tuning it to the edge of mechanical perfection. German tuner, Lumma did just that taking a base M5 and converting it to the CLR 500 R-S.<!--more-->
Mods include 21-inch wheels, a wide-body kit and wind tunnel tested diffusers. The car has also been lowered a full 40mm on an H&R sport suspension. On the propulsion side, Lumma has added a racing exhaust and high-flow catalytic converters, along with an ECU upgrade to coordinate the increased airflow. Power from BMW's V10 has in turn been increased to 560 hp, making 200+mph a short jog. Finally, interior mods include matching orange leather trim, orange dials in the gauge pod and a new Lumma-designed steering wheel made from anodized aluminum. Bottom line street fans, this is one mean machine.
