Apparently, the Veyron may have a competitor. Shelby Super Cars is reporting that its SSC Ultimate Aero will complete speed testing by the end of August. The super hot coupe is making a bid for the title of “World’s Fastest Production Car.”
At 1183-horsepower the car has already achieved a documented speed of 241.4 mph at just 71 percent throttle.This could mean a true challenge has arrived for the Veyron.
