Popular Mechanics brings us the scoop on GM's latest Corvette:
The new super-vette will not be turbocharged and will instead carry a single supercharger, developing somewhere between 600hp and 700hp on a built V8 engine. Supposedly, Chevy will only be building 3,000 of these Vettes over two years at a selling price of about $100,000 each. Interestingly, they (Popular Mechanics) also claim that there may not be a manual transmission on the car as GM's current manual transmissions are unable to cope with the power this engine produces.
