Ahead of the car's public debut this fall, Mitsubishi has returned to the Ring for some additional rounds of testing with their new Lancer Evolution X. And this time, thanks to WorldCarFans, we have shots of the final production car, with no disguise.<!--more-->

As we pointed out <a href="http://www.streetseen.vi/?p=52">earlier</a>, the car will utilize a 2.0L 4cylinder engine which, according to insiders, will produce around 300 horsepower. There are two transmission options: a traditional standard transmission and a six speed dual clutch gearbox. As with Evolutions prior, the car remains AWD, with active control available even on USDM variants.

Although we originally anticipated a late October release at the Tokyo Motor Show, Mitsubishi may instead be officially unveiling the car at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September. We'll keep you updated.
