I've noticed that a lot guys don't seem to have all the tools necessary to do basic automotive repairs on their cars. When I say basic I am referring to brakes,cv-axels,clutches etc.. Now everyone knows the dealerships will continue to charge an arm&leg  for repairs. The only relief is to have a warranty and hope your repairs are done on schedule. I am wondering how successful would shop that caters to guys/gals who have the ability to do their own repairs on their cars.. I looking at having a 4 bay shop with 2 lift bays and 2 flat bays. All tools are supplied with a a hourly charge. For example most dealerships in the states charge anywhere from 65$-95 bucks hr. The shop fee's in the craft shop are primarily in competition with the prices that dealerships charge for their repairs. Now the bays are not only for automotive use, it's also for any work that you want done to your car where you can have access to tools and and the information to get the job done. Any good business plans needs good market research, and I am counting on some good pros/cons to my idea from you guys/gals. P.S. This plan might be my ticket out of alaska and back to stx!!
