an hour and a half outside and the wheels are mostly clean. then i had it on my hands without realizing it and opened the door, which made a mess there that i then tried to get out but caused an even bigger mess that i thought damaged the clear... luckily it didnt. wheels and doors mostly free of asphalt now :hs:

will have to take off the wheels this weekend and try to clean in the wells. thats a real mess. but, at least its off the wheels and ...so far as i can tell.. the body is ok

edit: my hands are still a mess :ugh:

I'm sure the suspension and its parts are pretty tuff as for rims guess it depends on what side wall you have 35's lol damn that sucks 40 and up can take a couple of pot holes but you may get eggs in the tires..thats why I don't understand why people have 35's and lower thats crazy ...

tires are 35 rear, but of 275 so thats a 96.25mm sidewall
better than 40 cross section on a 235 tire..which would be a 94mm sidewall

but yeah i get your point, more sidewall is better i agree ...to a point. i love the sidewall on the s2000 but wouldnt go bigger.

btw didnt hit any holes.. i hit a pothole before though, a ninja one... no eggs thankfully.

i wonder if the runflat reinforced sidewalls help. i thought they did but then someone i know with a bmw/1 (not c&b) has runflats and they got a little egg .. then again their tires arent the same as mine and they have less sidewall.. and i didnt see how they got the egg..

hmm yeah thanks for the suggestion. if i have major problems i would have to. im optimistic that the rest will come off with a lot of work. but at the minimum i dont think any got into the brakes or suspension. and although the car isnt clean right now, i think the body is ok.

about companies - i dont like dealing with them if i dont have to. reminds me of what happened with tropical. im getting angry thinking about it

You know, diesel fuel works very well to remove old undercoating and is reasonably benign to paint. You will need to use nitrile gloves, not latex. Good luck!

Im getting furious just thinking about having to ship my car via tropical.... And buying a trailor just for the car is a little extreme. StreetRX7 did you detune the blue during shipping? I bet those suckers at tropical are walking to work with there laptops and various software just to crank up those performance cars that come to the island......

He turned the RPM'S down so the car would not rev. If you have a standalone ecu just turn the rpm's down and password protect the ecu, so they can't access your tune.

Immma rig my ECU port with a tazer...... Watch me...... two years in Iraq makes you very clear in building traps..... The average body can only take 30-45 secounds of continous non lethal shock before non lethal becomes...... LETHAL

Yeh BAI!! detune it ... 3000 rpm max...just enuff to move her araound...... even if they had the software.. The ECU I deal with have a code meaning you can put in ur own pass word... to lock out the tune thats in the car... so no matter what..

Unless they know what ecu you runing an they walk with 1 ...lol..

I can say tho... them man was trying hard to root up my shit... But they did .. 3000 rpm worth of rooting..lol..

nah you could still root the car no booost but high rev... << not goood... best way if you have standalone ..lower rev limit..

Good example Redbull car... .. no boost but them man was reving it hard...

Yeh im running a standalone. Ill detune it and find a way to lock the hood. When we ship dirtbikes we put on a fouled plug. A novice will get tired after about 5 kicks and give up.hehheheheh

well either way lower the boost or valet map it..valet map is also 3,000 so its about the same setting as for the program I doubt they would have it and your car would be here before they had time to locate the software plus find out when its shipped so we can sit and wait with a scooped pellet or potato launcher and clip some crawley fuckahs while we laugh...lol or just brind your own bread fruit lol:rofl::rofl: those work great too.
