the rear brake pads are Project Mu e-brake pads. Yeah street I new you'd say that but I have to agree..yeah I love the subby but this is the year and model lancer I want this is when they looked like a MARIGE which just looked sick..I'm gona ask him t osend me more picks of his bwoys car..yeah its in Japan Okinawa actually he's in the military. One of the good things about being in the military I guess. At least over there anyways. U can own the car you want...hopefully I can do something along these lines to my subby but we'll see.....and no Street I don't want to run your RX my baby is gona be set up for handling ans suspension for these roads.

naw something about old school imports even with there normal wear on paint and slight paint chips that just look sexy. Sorry but I can't think of another lancer that looks this sexy..don't know if anyone has ever seen Jackie Chans"who am I" thats what car they drove in him and the girl that was a GSR lancer doing stand still doughnuts lol. And they where light so where the subbies. Don't know if mine will ever be parts up as much though not lookin into a 6spd tranny with DCCD no need for me to control front and rear diff ratios. Maybe a 2 way diff but I have a center LSD already those didn't. customs regulations

it may be different for the lancer/evo since the lancers have been here before and there may be certain exemptions you can file... but for the r32 & 34 you cannot bring them in at all, explicitly illegal. r33s are allowed under certain conditions. i assume lito was just trying to see if customs would pay attention. if he really wanted to and had the $ a r33 can be imported but a vast majority of people would never bother with the work and investment required to do so.

if you want a 34 today you will have to buy a legalized one (of about 15 in the states) off someone who has one.

btw in some states customs doesnt care and the dmv will title, thats how they get in usually. theyre still illegal even then though. in the VI, the community is small and we are a car culture so customs is up on things... hence why it apparently wont work here

Again lito's car was a skyline not an EVO IV and yes you can get a skyline from St.Lucia. The mitsu regulations are actually fine why because its a European spec..well regulation wise at least. There are a good number of right hand drive cars from st. lucia and other places here on island. Majority of them are SUV's such as Diahatsu so your not really looking out for one but there here bruds.;)

well the evo itself doesnt have a us counterpart but maybe you could argue its based off the lancer and if that argument can be proven that its close enough, that due to us/jn similarities it should be accepted. if they accepted that argument THEN you'd be allowed to do a conversion. its a big if but cars like the r34 will never have that and are even explicitly made illegal.

in the states there are a number of cars illegally on the road, titled even. still doesnt change the fact that they're illegal.

r32 and r34 not legal at all. r33s require other modifications as well and even then im not sure if there are any registered importers that can do it..

check MOTOREX! skylines can be made legal in the US. but there is a lot more to it than windshields. the EPA is the biggest hurdle. I was trying to get a 02 rx7 trust me I researched everything involved. motorex is the only legal importer of skylines check their site they have all the info

Safe your money and convert one but again like tekk said they may give you shit for it even if it pass's state emissions,reinforced bumpers..windshield etc. but even with this done they still may just give you shit for it. EVO's don't have this problem again like I said the EURO spec had these problems addressed which is why I'm not going for skyline but a EVO IV.

i want to say that for as little as the cost of the car + 4mths work + $25k ...someone could have a federally legalized R33...maybe... or, could spend $50-60k buying one off someone else who's already done it.

very true yet only possible if you really are willing to trade your first born for one lol..I'd probably just buy an R-35 and be done with it as a whole. Then maybe do some body work changes such as straight block tail lights rather than circles removal of the wing...basic stuff but have it still looking like a skyline.

sorry bruds^^^ i ment vr6 3.2L not VR4 lol well kinda like how you have two different model integra's street..my favorite type -r would be the square light integra not the rounded andel eye look...I hate looking at those kinda integras to me the square lights are demon looking. Well just to be different thats all. I'm not getting a gtr 92VR4 I'm looking into an EVO IV....Basically I think I'm really into rally bread vehicles don't know why but Aruba would be my Mecca if iever gotto visit. Rally racing his really big there.

It was not built or designed for that kind of motorsports, it is a road course/ auto cross type of car. It wasn't even designed for drag racing but they still do it, and look at the end result- grenaded transmissions. The only type of rally the GTR would be in is tarmac. I don't think any model GTR was ever rallied, I think they only ran them in group A or B and GTR's had their own class of racing series.
