Ok finally got around to building another engine for a customer...

Turbo2...This is the before pictures,The motor is not cleaned YET will clean them after I port the motor....

Well it depends on me,the hardest part is cleaning the engine parts properly its ah must... I'm waiting on the seal kit & super apex seal to come in....I would say 2 weeks... Porting take up alot of time too...

I have yet to see one of my motor blow on STX.. AN I have push some of my work very hard on bone stock motors.... The last car I did end up crash :cry: B4 the motor Blew.. cosmo 13 RE in ah turbo2 .. Dont get me wrong they can blow but I go very safe on tune for the streets....

Anyway here are the porting plates I use the one on the left is turbo2 medium/street port the one on the rite is 3rd gen medium /street port..

put every thing back up. gettin ready to go track, diving my car out of
my diveway car rev axle broke just like that.:dunno:

3+ years of drag racing on stock axles numerus 10sec passes and it broke
@1500 rpm not 7500 rpm with 25''/9'' slicks bummer, but better home than at

Had no time 2day to start the porting of the middle plates... Trying to source some brake pads for the wifey Maxima.. I went to nissan these MFrrr'S want almost 200 for front brakes.. I told the sales person thanks but no thanks.. :rofl: thats ridiculous for ah pair of brake pads.. So I went to another parts store an got it for less than half the price....

These damn dealer want to rob you with out ah gun.. :rofl: :rofl: In the states I can get it for half the price.. or less .. :cool:

Hahahaha its very easy if you take you time/ have the rite tools BaI!!!!.....
3 to 4 different porting tools.. metal,stone,sand paper.. different course in material.. metal 1st to grind down what you need.. stone to smoothing the surface you might have to use different stone to get in some tuff groves.. Then sand paper different grades until polish to ah smooth shiny setting....
Very time consuming process.. By porting to a smooth polish finish makes the flow of gas an air .. much more efficient that will = 2 more power ;)...

RX7.. U got the concept down to a T. that same rules applies to port and polish Veedub heads or any other type heads. I got a set of SuperFlows that was mild port and polish. The air flow was about 220 cfm @ about .500 if i remembered correctly.

Here is where the tranny bolts up.. An turbo manifold/wastegate.. This is not the turbo kit for this motor,...It wont work because this is ah turbo2 motor an that turbo setup is for 3rd gen Rx7.... Just an idea of how it bolts up like you ask.. ;) ;)

This is my spare 3rd gen tranny with motor..

I know motor is EXTRA SMALL.... Yes it is ... But that sucker pushes over 400hp @ 15psi..

Here is where the tranny bolts up.. An turbo manifold/wastegate.. This is not the turbo kit for this motor,...It wont work because this is ah turbo2 motor an that turbo setup is for 3rd gen Rx7.... Just an idea of how it bolts up like you ask.. ;) ;)

I know motor is EXTRA SMALL.... Yes it is ... But that sucker pushes over 400hp @ 15psi..

SHORT BLOCK is what you see there.. ONLY thing missing intake thats it ... Well it doesn't have oil pan which aint much...

I think Mickey Thompson makes a Street Radial that fits your current wheel you got on the car now.... If not.... Nitto makes a Street Slick/Radial for 18x10 and hell even 20x10.

+1 once you have a good radiator and oil cooler there is no problem. like streetrx said my car was driven for like 3 hours straight without turning off. and driven very hard. i had no issues.

All my life with my car I had ONLY 1 issue OVER HEATING 4YRS AGO that was because I didnt have ah thermostat in my car thats it...

I run 15/20psi on my car on the street which makes almost 500 hp MY FRIEND I know because I dyno it made 40+ pulls on ah dyno.. Drove my car from NJ to MASS.. Dyno it an drive back doing 170 mph NO over heating problem..

Although like all modern high performance cars, must be meticulously maintained to insure reliability, longevity, and performance levels. The relatively high cost of some parts on Japanese cars stops many from properly maintaining, usually resulting in otherwise unneeded repairs and problems. A plan of regular interval service, fluid changes, and proper cool down and driving habits are key in keeping cars on the road. Yes my BAI!!!! THATS WITH any car.... An high boost will cause higher tempreture.... Like I said rotary do run hotter than ah normal car but there is precaution you can take while doing your upgrade om high HP application...

blah blah blah. as far as 3tc lips flapped, dont i rermember him saying something about running like 30psi and not getting 500whp. c'mon a stock rotary motor with a good single turbo can make 400whp at 15-16 psi on pump gas. nuff said. i love toyota i even love a 3tc. but you have to admit a rotary is an amazing engine. and there is nothing and i do repeat nothing out there making that kind of power with such a small displacement engine. as far as cooling go's, any engine making more than stock power is going to get hotter than stock N/A or turbo. now the more boost you run the more heat you are going to make. heat is a product of compressing air cant be helped. and yes they say up to 50% of a rotary's cooling is done with the oil. so a good oil cooler setup is a must. that being said. I have open 4 rotary motors here on STX An I CAN SEE WHY they WAS BLOWING UP AN OVER HEATING ... Because of old parts.. old house an plates ... Coolant was passing through the coolant seal an getting into the rotor...

I went as far as seen some rotary motor with TIDE box made out as gasket..

I build my own motor tune my own car.... I tune 8 rx7 blow 1 motor because it was on its way out alrdy .. Just wanted to see what it would hold.. :)

I also help Cruzan7m with his supra.. tuning never had an issue..

First of all weither your running 60psi or 5 psi:ugh: it all comes down to compression..higher compression engines don't need to be in the high psi to make power..lower compressions do so if your mkaing 400whp at 10-15 it all has to do with your compression ratio so this might be why a rotary can make that at low boost...most people now adays run high compression forged or billet pistons to take into account for this..no need to have a big turbo housing in order to
make heeps of power and most running high boost that I've heard of tend to near therer rebuild interval because of it on the turbo mind you. Such as shaft play on the turbine.

Yeah a 10.4 or 10.5..I'll give it to you your knocking on 9's door but at the same time this is a stock 600 with exhaust and K&N filter..basically bolt on parts or mild bolt on parts..no upgraded turbo no upgraded EM(power commander for me) no nitrous ,no stretch or sprokets plus I have to launch at around 12,000 to really pull a seriously good launch.:dunno: But the only thing I'm worried about with giving him 5 rollin is that I'm gona be infront and I trust my bwoy I don't trust an RX that likes to loose traction and swing a tail fender in my ass..:ugh: thats my only concern right there.
