...and you can't get your hands on a Veyron, consider the new super Corvette in development, seen in these spy pics:

The new car, often referred to as the Blue Devil, is expected to house a new engine outputting over 600hp, pushing less than 3000lbs of weight. On paper, that may not sound like much, but thats over 100hp more than the C6 generation Z06 Corvette, which is nothing to laugh at. The C6 Z06 has already been timed in the very deep 11s at over 125mph on the 1320'. With basic bolt ons, 10s have been achieved. All of that sounds good, but now you're thinking that because it's an American car, it can't turn.
You'd be wrong. Take the infamous Nuerburgring for instance. There the C6 Z06 is capable of a 7 minute 43 second lap time. Let's put that into perspective: the S2000 might be able to do 8'39". 350Z? 8'26". NSX? 8'16". STi C-Spec? 8'06". Ferrari F430? 7'55".
You see where I'm going with this. A Lamborghini Murcielago will do it in 7'47". You need something like a Veyron (7'40") , Porsche GT3 (7'39") , or Porsche Carrera GT (7'28") to have a faster machine than the C6 Z06.
And now they're giving that car another 100 horsepower.
