So this morning I got pulled over...

Was turning onto n shore road heading east toward town...getting ready to begin the morning drive :shiftdrive:

...but then a police car heading west sees me about to turn onto road and immediately lights up. i make the left and he makes a u turn, but there's traffic so he ends up three cars back.

i was already in manual + r mode across the board, and could have proceeded away but i knew that wouldnt be a good idea... for whatever reason, he wanted me...

so off i turn onto some property my peoples own... on a hill in front of the main road. he turns off the road and follows up the driveway behind me and stops. a minute later he pops out and says my car's tinted pretty dark...

i say, i had it done in fl when i got the car..blah blah blah. i thought i had the papers for the tint but i didnt. i dont think it mattered- he was gonna check anyway. so away he goes... 33% on one side then i guess he figured i might tint one side and not the other, so off to the other side where i scored a 34%. the law is 35%, and they allow a few pctg pts due to error etc :cool:

but then it turned out he knows my family ...although i didnt remember him...

so anyway, if you hear about a skyline (lol) getting pulled over that's what happened. not a very sexy story and hopefully one that wont be repeated as i hate getting pulled over.

although i did find a nice place where, for the first time, i exceeded 1 lateral G :cool:

35%? Are you serious???? Damn..... I'm at 25% on the drivers and passengers and 15% in the back.

some cars here will get away with 5% all day, every day, for years without a problem. the law only seems to apply when they really want it to.

but you have a car that will turn heads :hs: so, some police will big you up... but some will go so far as to stop you on your property to check your tint ...ask me how i know :ugh:
